we're not trying to be sappy. we don't like sappy. this is not an attempt on the dramatic, either. we're just saying that we miss you, and that we wish we could get together again - even just for a day (or a night, knowing that we are all, in one way or another, creatures of the dark...^_^) . 

pardon us for being wistful.  we can't help but look back on those days when we were besought with concerns here and there and we simply didn't care because we knew that we would see one another through. 

but we couldn't stay in that bubble forever. we knew, even then, at the back of our minds that we would get caught up in life's hustle and bustle, so we swore to at least try to keep US alive. we knew even then that things would change and priorities would shift, but even that knowledge has not prepared us for this eventual drifting apart. one day we woke up to find you gone, a gaping hole in your wake.  :'(
